The Mabry Family: Descendants of Francis Maybury and Elizabeth Gilliam of Surry County, Virginia, published by Donald E. Collins in 1987.
The Mabry Family is a 603 page cloth bound volume, covering all branches of the family. The book is completely indexed. A reprint edition was published in 1997 and again in 1999. The reprint edition does not update previous information but does contain about 75 pages of new information about: the descendants of Seth Maybury of Jackson County, Tennessee; the Mabrys of Union and Abbeville Counties in South Carolina; and John Mabry of Rutherford County, Tennessee. Both editions are now out of print.

This is a 261 page cloth bound volume with a focus on the descendants of Charles2 (Francis1) Mabry who migrated to southeastern Missouri. The author has done an excellent job of setting the Mabr(e)y story in the context of historical events. Wayne County's Lost River Settlements: The H.Y. Mabrey Papers, also by Cletis R. Ellinghouse, published in 2008 by the Xlibris Corporation of Philadelphia.
This is a book about the people in the communities along the St. Francis River that were destroyed by the government in the late 1930s to clear the landscape for development of Wappapello Lake. The original Mabrey homes in Wayne County were along this river.

Jennifer Smith aka Claire Constable has written a trilogy on the Constable family of Horley Mill in England. Her third volume, The Constable Connections: Stories from Hertfordshire, Surrey and the Ottawa River, includes the story of the Maybury family from Frimley in Surrey, England. The patriarch of this family, William Augustus Maybury MD, was born at Cleady Cottage, Kenmare and later married Clara Constable of Storrington, Sussex. Dr. Maybury was a descendant of William Mabury, progenitors of the Maybury family branch at Kenmare, County Kerry.
